At Knox Kids Dental, we believe that dentistry for kids should be gentle, educational, and even fun. Our mission is to provide exceptional pediatric dental care tailored to each child’s individual needs and comfort level. Helping kids thrive, one smile at a time - meet Dr. Tanner Gamble
Dr. Tanner Gamble grew up in Centerville, Utah, where he always aspired to pursue a career in healthcare. After serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attending Southern Utah University, he initially pursued physical therapy. However, his path shifted while supporting his wife in her studies to become a dental hygienist. Through her journey, he discovered a true calling in the world of dentistry - and eventually found his passion in working with children.
Dr. Gamble earned both his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is currently board-eligible and plans to sit for the board exam in September 2026. His dedication to continuing education is matched only by his commitment to compassionate care. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
What makes Dr. Gamble different is his exceptional ability to connect with children - particularly those who have anxiety, special needs, or have had difficult experiences at other dental offices. He is known for creating a calm, supportive environment that helps kids feel strong, brave, and understood. Building rapport with both children and parents is at the heart of his care philosophy.
Dr. Gamble offers a range of specialized services including white zirconia crowns, trauma care, and minimally invasive treatment options. He particularly enjoys taking on challenging cases and educating families about oral health, helping them feel equipped and empowered every step of the way.
Outside the office, you can find Dr. Gamble spending time outdoors with his family, on the golf course, playing pickleball, or staying active through fitness. As a provider, community member, and parent himself, he’s committed to creating an environment where families feel truly seen, respected, and cared for.

We take time to get to know each child and parent, helping to build trust and ease any anxiety along the way. First visits include a warm welcome, a gentle cleaning and exam, and a customized care plan made just for your child.

Every space in our office is designed with your child’s comfort and safety in mind. From in-room TVs to advanced digital equipment, we’ve created a dental home that feels both high-tech and homey. Our tools and techniques allow us to deliver more efficient, more comfortable care for every child.
Sprig zirconia crowns
We proudly offer high-quality Sprig anterior and posterior zirconia crowns - an aesthetic and durable option for restoring your child's smile. These all-white crowns blend naturally with surrounding teeth, offering a cosmetic alternative to stainless steel crowns that gives kids the confidence to smile big.
Ceiling-mounted TVs and headphones
Each operatory is equipped with a TV mounted on the ceiling and headphones to help entertain and calm your child during treatment. It’s just one way we turn dental visits into relaxed, positive experiences.
In-room X-rays
Our digital radiography units are available in every treatment room, so your child can stay comfortable in one chair while we gather the images needed. This makes appointments faster, easier, and much more kid-friendly.

While we don’t currently partner with community organizations, we’re looking forward to building those connections. Dr. Gamble values forming deeper ties with local families, schools, and health professionals in Powell and surrounding areas. As we grow, so will our efforts to give back and be a trusted resource for children’s oral health in the Knoxville community.
